Trisha Brutus
Trisha Brutus is a highly dedicated and compassionate Board-certified Physician Assistant at Hope Health and Wellness. Trisha has an extensive medical background as a Emergency Medical Technician for 5 years prior to becoming a Physician Assistant.
Trisha was born in Miami, Florida but both of her parents are Haitian so she is fluent in English, Creole, and can comprehend French. She wanted to become a Physician Assistant because it gave her the opportunity to connect with patients and help increase the provider-patient time and quality of care.
Trisha did her bachelor’s at a dual program with Broward College and University of Florida in Environmental Science. Then she did her physician assistant program and master’s in medical science at Miami Dade Medical College and St. Francis University where she graduated with honors.
During her education, she was part of the Brain Bowl team at Miami-Dade Physician Assistant program where they won 1st, 2nd and 3rd place challenge bowl in 2021. She was also part of an organization where she was giving back to the community by helping arrange events that would provide free medical care to those in need.
When she’s not working, Trisha enjoys going to church, doing yoga and spending quality time
with her loved ones.
